So recently, Call of Duty Modern Warfare has proven my CPU is falling short on today's games. Monitoring the hardware, I find the CPU (i5 6600) is bottle necking the GPU (1060 6gb). I also want to start streaming gameplay and have failed doing so with anything more demanding than Minecraft because of this CPU.

My Current Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bman7842/saved/LXQycf

My current motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151

Is there a decent upgrade that will still be supported on this motherboard. I would prefer not upgrading the motherboard if it isn't necessary. I'm just curious what higher performance CPU's exist today that fit in this socket, and more importantly are supported by my motherboard. I won't be overclocking it so this is not important in my system but I am willing to do Motherboard bios updates if necessary to get support of new CPUs.

Look for a used i7 6700 or i7 7700 (requires BIOS update) on Ebay.

You make a good point, was kinda surprised how much they were going for on eBay, might just go this route now. Do you know of any good Micro-Atx or Mini-itx motherboards I should look at for AM4 and would this board theoretically support the new ryzen cpu's released (in theory for upgrading), just not very familiar with AMD sockets/boards.

Which? I think AM4 is supported for one more generation at most. It doesn't support ThreadRipper.

You can pick up the 2600 from the NewEgg eBay store for $109 (at least you could), and I'd wait for Black Friday to pick up a motherboard.
