Regarding laptop battery and BIOS.

Hi! So my laptop battery is complete shit, ever since i bought it i`ve only been able to get out around 1,2 hours out of it before having to charge again. However I recently contacted Lenovo support and got the response that BIOS settings and a system reset would solve the thing. But the thing is I´ve ran two battery diagnostics on the battery and I´ve got the following stats:

Can there in anyway be a software issue that i only get 30% of the battery?

"Wear level: 67.10%" that battery is a goner buddy. Lenovo has this 60% thingy, that keeps your battery charged at 60% so increase your batteries shelf life, if you havent disabled that manually since you got it that might explain you never got a decen battery life.

Never touched the bios settings, just the windows ones but never came across a setting which limited the maximum charge.

Its not a BIOS setting, it was set in a lenovo software. Either way I dont think there is anyway to reclaim that battery.

Ah okay, either way I havent even come across that software anytime. But the good this is its still within 1 year warrenty so I should be able to get it replaced for free.
