razer headset does not give me surround sound

Hi,

i have a razer electra v2 analog and a usb soundcard they both support virtual 7.1 surround sound

but when i plug my headset in it shows up as a speaker and when i try to configure it the only option i have is stereo and not 7.1 how do i get this to work?

i am on windows 10

you don't need to use the realtek settings as far as i'm aware.

since synapse 3 takes control of the headset and the settings.

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

so i downloaded the razer synapse but then i found out that is not compatible with my headset (razer electra v2 analog) so then i tried to download razer synapse 2.0 but that does not work because when i install i get i error message that says it cant find a certain file or folder i cant remember and that a reboot is required then i reboot start de program and all it does is show up in the taskbar but is does not show any other activity help how should i solve this
