At a minimum, I would follow MicroCenter's pages for any doorbusters (especially if there is one within driving distance in your area, but sometimes their deals are online too).  Also the site SlickDeals.net usually updates for good deals.  I don't know many reddit threads offhand, but r/buildapcsales is a good one, there may also be a thread dedicated to black friday or w/e.  And as usual, for US buyers you should be watching Newegg and Amazon as that'll be the big 2 in terms of online buying.  Maybe a little of B&H Photo, Best Buy, and Superbiiz.

-But before you start shopping, you should have a clear-cut idea of what group of CPU/Mobo you're targeting as you'll have to wade through a lot of non-compatible stuff otherwise.  The same goes for the types of PSU that are up to snuff, you don't want to be guessing at quality if the thing on sale is on sale because it's trash or an actual good deal on a reliable pick.  Having an idea of case helps as those don't typically go on sale, so don't expect much there, just pick something with good airflow and looks you can live with.

You can check out the sales ahead of time, and IIRC NewEgg starts their sales the night before so you can just order online.
