Looking for inexpensive laptop with excellent display

Hi,

A friend of mine want a new laptop. As it'll be used for color sensitive work the display must be color accurate. There isn't a concrete budget but a Macbook or a Dell XPS (and the other laptops in that price range) are out of the question.

Any suggestions?

I mean, you cant expect too much from 'cheap' laptops. But anyway; you pretty much need a pricerange to determine what 1 might need. is it more 200-300? 500-700? or 1000-1200?

Quite sure you can find something for that pricetag yeah, though i cant help right now as i'm a bit busy haha, Good luck to the rest finding stuff. I'm sure there's a hidden gem for them.
