Other than the Fact that it Will Boot Occasionally. This thing and the Included Software is Crap. I will Never Ever buy another Bottom End, Mid-Range or High End Motherboard that has an ASUS Name attached to it. I've been a Licensed A+ Tech since 1999. And for a Company to put forth such B.S. and add their own Name to it is a Sure fire way to Lose Customers. Their BIOS and accompanying Software is Total Crap and none of of it Works as Advertised and if you can get past the Numerous Error Messages when you Actually Get It To Boot. You will be amazed as to the numerous times that Windows Explorer Crashes.

 

I use to be a fervent ASUS buyer, but this motherboard and it's  accompanying software is a Total Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using Asus boards in most of my builds and never had any issues with them.

 

The build that I did for my brother not that long ago uses B350-F with R5 3600 running at 4.1Ghz with no issues whatsoever.

 

Same goes for my personal build with Asus Prime Z370-A (is somewhere in the mid range Z370 board category) yet I don't have any issues running 8700k at 5Ghz in it.

 

Asus Bios is always straight forward for me.

Honestly I think all mobos are trash - there just isn't too much competition in the field you have 

Gigabyte 

Asus 

MSI

Biostar 

Asrock 

EVGA 

NZXT (lol?)

 

And that's pretty much it?  No reason for any of these companies to be less buggy / unreliable than the other. 

 

I mean to be fair their stuff mostly works,  but far from perfect,  and it may not even be viable with the thousands of possible mobo / cpu / ram / etc combinations.  

 

It's literally a lottery,  I had the highly praised MSI B450 tomahawk MAX for my Ryzen 3600 for about 2 weeks,  incredible sluggish BIOS,  frequently crashing and / or rebooting into BIOS for no obvious reason. 

 

I'm using my old MSI B350M Mortar now and having much less issues,  no random reboots etc.

I had one, ran a 2700X on it with no issues, ever. BIOS was usual ASUS excellence, other than the X99 and newer EVGA UEFI, I’ve never used a better BIOS. Both ASUS’ older BIOS on X58 boards and their newer stuff (I’ve owned a B450-F, Prime Z370-A, and Crosshair VII) is amazing. Board looks gorgeous too and Aura is kinda jank but still the best RGB software out there AFAIK. I only upgraded to a CH7 to try SLI, the B450-F now lives in a friend’s rig running an R5 2600, which I manually OCed to 4Ghz.

Worse, “one bad experience = the company is crap”. I tend to believe multiple reviews over one guy.  Still if he is having issues there’s a good chance I will.  Crap GUIs and bad integration are potential issues.
