best cpu for the next few years

Hi,

 

Im planning to build a new PC and I dont want to upgrade anything other than GPU in the next 3-4 years at least. Is the i9 9900k still the best option? I was looking at new ryzens but linus said in one vid that those new motherboards have not been tested before (i think he ment like it having new fan and so on)  for longevity.
