I need help choosing a 144hz 1440p Monitor!

so recently I've been wanting a monitor upgrade. I currently have 2 crappy 60hz 1080p benq monitors and want to switch to possibly a 1440p 144hz 27inch main monitor (used for editing/design and gaming) with a vertical orientated one to the side for discord, spotify and other stuff. 120hz could possible even be fine. but forget about the secondary one for now. I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions. I was also wondering with 144hz whether there was much of a noticible difference between 1 and 4/5ms response times. I'm not a pro gamer or anything but I do play competitive game modes in... rocket league and would like a good experience. I also ideally want decent colour accuracy but I realise this is a lot to ask for this budget. speaking of budget mine is around $500 aud which is around $350 USD. Any advice or help is appericiated also I have a gtx 1070 if that helps (idk) so that, along with my budget is why I want to go with 1440p.
