Gigabyte GTX1070 Windforce 8GB OC rev.2.0 too loud

Hello, I have bought a used Gigabyte GTX1070

https://www.gigabyte.com/cz/Graphics-Card/GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD-rev-20#kf

which is still under warranty and I tried the Unigine Heaven.

The score for full HD is about 2260, which is o.k. However the card gets up to 82 degrees and about 2800 rpms which is quite loud.

Is this normal? Or shall I return the card? Thanks.

Custom curves help sometimes but not all the time.  It would help for situations when you’d GPU is not working hard, which is usually most of the time.  It’s a YMMV thing.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
