How many cores turbo on Ryzen?

I know AMD calls their turbo something different, but I'm curious if it works different than intel's built in turbo. Is Ryzen's only on one core? Or will it boost on all cores albeit not as strong like intel?

all core is possible but then not the max boost. Similar to Intel. How much, log  and when is boosted is verry different from intel. BUT pretty much irrelevant for the end user

Ryzen is far more dynamic than that. Temperature scaling for example, at 80C it might not hit max turbo even in a single core at light loads but at -80C it might hit max turbo in all cores under Prime95. If Intel does the same to their CPUs, 9900K could very well have 5.4GHz max turbo instead
