Hey I'm thinking of building a PC. So far I have parts picked out which I plan to buy in the next year or 2 or will buy the equivalents when they come out, but I'd like a second or third opinion on what I have selected as I don't have a huge knowledge.

Some requirements I have:

I want to run 1440p games at 120hz in ultra settings.

The potential for upgrading to 4k once it becomes more affordable and reasonable to game in 4k

No water cooling

A clean, and nice/cool looking build that can fit on a desktop (if I'm spending this much I want a system and setup that looks amazing)

I'll also be using this pc for work potentially too so want a great web browsing and word processing experience too.

Potential for streaming?

Thanks for the help!

you won't be able to always run that in AAA titles, it's about as demanding as 4k60 which still is a bit much on a 2080 ti.

also, don't bother with the pure rock slim, it's just not an improvement over the box cooler of the 3700X

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
