Hello guys I'm a little bit struggling here.

I've got a MSI B360 GAMING PLUS (MS-7B22)
and a SAMSUNG V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 (MZ-v7s1t0BW)

I checked on the compatibility page of the motherboard and it supportes this M.2 drive.
I can't find how to install Windows 10 on the drive and use it as my boot drive.

The drive is functional, I tested it on an other motherboard.

I proceed like that :

  1. Load defaults
  2. Disconnect any other drive
  3. Boot from the windows install media

At this point the drive doesn't show up in the drive list.

Checked the BIOS I cannot see the M.2 on the board explorer, one week age I had a SATA M.2 in this slot (I dont have it anymore) so I assume that the port is functional.

Next step, trie switching BIOS version, I tested:

  • Version 2.50
  • Version 2.60
  • Version 2.70
  • Version 2.80

Always the same problem : NVMe M.2 doesn't show up in the list of drives during the Windows installation process...

I did a lot of research on how to do it but only found tutorials for other motherboard brand that didn't work for me.

Thx
