If you have any questions what the text below the ports read just describe which one an I'll answer

Just to understand what you actually did, you had an existing PC and replaced the Motherboard (and possibly CPU?) in it?

You don't have to plug anything in there if you don't want to. All of the ports there are for front USB, front audio, Power Button (this one might be important), Power/HDD LED or maybe an internal fan.

Look in the manual of your motherboard. One of there should be your front panel connector, where you plug in the power button and power light etc from the case. Also one of those should be called HDAudio. Thats where also from the case the front panel connectors for audio (headsets and stuff) go. Also there could be the need to plug on USB connectors from your cases front panel. Depending on your setup there also could be a connector for RGB stuf.

Best practice is to check the wires coming from your case and referring to the MOBOS manual to see wich goes where.

And you cant really break anything :)

Yeah I had chassi, gpu, etc but I switched cpu and imo my very old motherboard wasn't compatible, the power button not being plugged in is probably the reason it won't start so if u could explain which port that is it would be very helpful

Thats the part where everybody has to check the manual when building with a new MOBO :P

Sometimes they are labelled on the board. Sometimes they are not.

A corollary to go with your statement...sometimes the person reading the labels on the board understand what those labels mean, and sometimes they don't.
