Is my motherboard's BIOS version compatible with the i5 3470?

So, I'm buying a new i5 3470 which is compatible with a LGA 1155 socket. My motherboard is P8H61-M LX3 PLUS R2.0 and my BIOS version is 0609. Is the i5 3470 compatible with my motherboard or do I have to update my BIOS?

 

(I've checked and the motherboard I'm using is compatible with the i5 3470T, I'm just confused is tge normal i5 3470 compatible or not)

EDIT: Update your BIOS to latest just to be safe.

Its advisable to upgrade to the latest version before you swap out the CPU. 06xx is a very early version and updating cannot hurt when it comes to compatibility.

Its either 0608 or 0906 I'm guessing. Either way 1004 adds support for new CPUs and the boards so old theres no reason to not be running the latest version (1107).
