So here's what I am trying to figure out.

Room 1 has my desktop/office stuff.

Room 2 is my leisure room.

I have recently made it where display signal will carry over from my desktop from room 1 to my tv in room 2.  Since the wireless KB/M works on line of sight mostly, being able to use kb/m on my chair has proven to be difficult so I am trying to see if there are any proxy receivers or something that can carry the signal over to my desktop from my chair that's about 30 ft away and through a couple walls.

If you're able to get a display cable to the second room you could get a usb male to female extension cord to bring the receivers closer?

Mmm, when I previously asked about a extension like that elsewhere, I was informed such a distance was not feasible.  Especially if I'm going to put a wireless dongle on it. is that not the case?

Depending on the bandwidth it should be fine, since it’s just a keyboard and mouse USB 2 should be fine. If you’re using display port for your second room, it has integrated USB that your display could have included.

Alrighty, I'll give that a try.  thanks.
