Hi guys so basically my pc that I just built won't turn on. When I press the power button the motherboard flashes red, one of the case fans slightly moves and the gpu flashes blue but then it just powers off completely. Any help? I attached a picture and I know my cables are a mess I just wanted to see that it worked before I managed them

Need to start with the basics. Take the card out and try it. Just to see if it stays on. Move the ram over to the next slot closest to the cpu. Check the power connections on both ends. Re seat the cpu.

won't turn on.

Sounds like a short. This is a pain to do, but I'd take everything out of the case, set on a phonebook (for easier access) and try to turn it on.

If it doesn, you have a short in your case.

I have tried the ram in all the spots, checked power connections but I can't take out the you because the processor doesn't have integrated graphics it's an i5 9400f

I have tried turning it on with a screwdriver already it didn't work

You will at least see, if it boots without GPU. Just without picture.

Did you take the whole system out of the case before you did that?

No, what would that do though?

If you have a short between the mobo/cards, and the case, what you are seeing would happen.

By taking everything out of the case, and placing on a phonebook, you can eliminate the case being the source of the short.
