hi all, I recently baught a 4k cable and screen for my thinkpad p50 in an effort to finally get a 4k laptop. the first screen worked but was damaged so I sent it back the second screen worked intermittently then stopped working entirely I bought a new cable and still nothing? I'm a little worried I fried the system board as the FHD cable and display no longer work either. I've gone through hell with trying this upgrade have broken the trackpoint and touchpad through wear and tear having thedarn thing apart constantly. I need to get this fixed ASAP is it possible to get it repaired through a pcb Repair shop?

only thing I think could have damaged it was the fact I used the 30 pin edp cable in the 4k screen in a desperate attempt to get an output.
any help is appreciated

I have tried countless combinations of panels and cables but no output unless I'm missing something?
