Gang,

I know this is my first post, but don't hold it against me. I've been a long time fan of LTT and just have mustered up the courage to reach out to the community. I've been forever a gamer but in the last year I was blessed with a son which has taken the majority of my time away from my passion (for good reasons). Seeing as gaming is my passion, I'm attempting to step into the world of game creation and design. I am by trade a .NET developer (C# baby). I decided that I needed to sell my PC during the pregnancy so that I could focus more on the family. Now that he is a little older and all that I want to get back into the swing of things.

Alas, I'm reaching out to the community for some help. I want to build a machine that will last a good 5-6 years. My budget is flexible but would want to keep it around $2,500-$3,000USD

The original post said that you needed some information about what this would be for.

1.) PRIMARY - Blender, Unity, Photoshop, Visual Studio 2019 Enterprise

2.) SECONDARY - Gaming the latest titles, whenever I would have time.

What I don't need

1.) Monitor, my current monitor is a 49in Dell Ultrawide 5120x1440

2.) mouse/keyboard - I have the new Logi MX Master 3 MX Keys (I do use a MacBook occasionally. Don't hold it against me)

While I know my current monitor isn't all that great for gaming, I thought about getting a second 49in  ultra wide from samsung. Big Gaming Monitor but that might be for a later time.

Okay, so now that you know what I'm using this thing for and what I don't need. Let's get started!

1.) I'll wait and be patient and will want a new gen Threadripper.

2.) I would like to make this a liquid cooled machine

3.) I need a case that can house this thing

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you had $3k to spend, knowing that you didn't need a monitor what would you do?

NOTE: If it's over/under by a couple hundred dollars, that isn't going to be a deal breaker

I look forward to some honest help.

Best,

J, at project924

We can't exactly make a parts list for these parts that aren't on the market yet, and we can't use their MSRP because we don't know if they have enough stock to launch at major retailers at the right price, so specific build suggestions could be way off. It's best to wait for the actual release and make a new topic, you'll have your pick of the litter from myself and others who will be more than happy to make a thousand parts list on a new product release.

If the person that builds the PC that I ultimately purchase, there is something for them.

It's best not no offer rewards or compensation on the forum, trust me. We're here for free and we do it for fun, no need to get prizes involved.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
