So i've been having a problem where when i first boot the computer for the day it boots up perfectly fine then once it loads into the windows login screen, i loose the video output, after that the computer wont respond to the power button on the case and im forced to switch  the PSU off and then back on, then on second boot it starts right up, logs into windows, and everything is fine. I was in contact with MSI, AMD and XFX about the problem but to no resolve they kept saying roll back to earlier drivers and try updating to the latest GPU driver, but to no avail none worked. Any thoughts on this issue?

What happen other then the screen going black, fans ramp up? fans stop working? what if you hold the power button for 10 seconds? Might also be a PSU issue going into overcurrent protection

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...

Everything stays on, the fans dont ramp up at all. The power button wont shut the computer off even when holding it down. Never thought of the PSU being the problem since it was bought at the beginning of the year brand new.

If you have a friend with a GPU...ask to borrow it and try it out. If using the spare GPU works and all is fine...then you have narrowed the problem down to being just the GPU and not another component in your system.
