Two different models for Acer Predator x27, differences?

During my research, I found that the Acer Predator X27 monitor has actually two models listed on their website.

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-models/monitors/predatorx27

bmiphzx (old) and pbmiphzx (new)

The newer model it’s actually listed for $200 less than the older model, which is weird because they seem to have the exact same specs.

After doing some deep diving online I found a couple of articles that say the new model actually supports VRR through HDMI for Xbox S and X...

https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/acer-predator-x27-p-with-minor-updates-now-supporting-vrr-over-hdmi/

Not sure how reputable either of those sites are, but the documentation mentions the two monitors have HDMI 2.0 and as far as I know HDMI 2.1 was needed for VRR.

Does anyone have actual concrete information about the two models? I’m afraid that they have removed some feature like FALD from in the new model to save costs.

One will be G-sync and one will be Freesync is most likely the differences.
