Fan doesnt work!! Have i plugged it wrong?

Hi, i recently bought a rgb fan from Fractal Design (Prisma AL-12) and it doesnt light up! I have added a photo below. I plugged it into the d_led2 on my motherboard. Is that wrong? (The fan is spinning btw) Can someone help? My mobo is the Z390 Aorus Pro.

Should've read the manual of the fan and the motherboard before plugging it in.

There are 12V RGB fans and 5V ARGB fans. Polarity is also involved, you might have fubared it already.

You can plug the RGB connector upside down, turn it 180 degrees and it will work.

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...
