What type of second display for dual monitor setup?

Hey guys, i want to buy second monitor to have dual setup but i dont know what type to get, my main monitor is 27inch 75hz freesync ips monitor and i wonder what monitor to get as my non gaming secondary one? What size should it be, any potential tips?

What will you use on this monitor? just things like discord? Will it be portrait or landscape? Do you need the option to change between the two? Most importantly, what's your budget?

it will be used for discord, twitch, obs etc -  non actuall gaming activities. My budget is about 130 usd.

You could find a cheap on like a 1440x900 60hz monitor.

If you want cheaper, I suggest checking some PC repair shops, sometimes they carry used and refurbished monitors that are cheap priced.

 

I am still using an old Viewsonc VA2012wb, I had it for about 14ish years and the colors and picture still look great, better than some of the cheaper $200 monitors in with 1920x1080p res displayed in Best buy and mine is just 1680x1050p.
