My motherboard 042p49  Has 4 sata ports but when i try to connect more than 2 hard drives the 3rd one doesn't show in windows nor bios. All the ports work but i can't use more than 2 drives at once but i see people use more than 2 drives all the time... How can i connect more than 2 drives? I've seen people talk about some RAID program but looking at that program i don't see how it would be of any use to me. I don't want to conenct the drives into one but more on like lines of my ssd for my operating system 1 drive for games and another drive for music, pictures, porn etc. How do i do this?

Does one of your drives sound like it's restarting itself when you have more than 2 connected? I had an issue with a cheap shitty PSU where it couldn't power more than 2 drives at a time. This shouldn't happen, but it's certainly a possibility.
