Hey peeps.

i've been lurking around the internet for around 2 months now as i want a laptop for school.

however i don't want a laptop with just intel 620 uhd since i also want to be able to play games on it but not any AAA games.

my problem is that i want one that looks good and i've been looking at the Asus ROG Zephyrus with different specs and the Razer laptops.

are there any other laptops that look "slick" and nimble but still has something like a 1650-1660ti inside (this is for 15,3 inch laptops)

preferably one with more than 60Hz refreshrate.

if not then a 13,3 inch with a mx 150 would be okay aswell.

budget should be around 1200€ give or take 250.

I'm from denmark so things from outside the EU won't be a good purchase since i'll need to pay huge import fee's

if it's not your main rig for gaming you could consider the Asus Zenbook Pro series. Sure it won't have a good cooling solution as its gaming counterparts, but when I picked up a laptop for school like 3 years ago, I went with the Asus Zenbook pro ux501vw it has i7-6700hq and gtx960m and till today it fits my needs and I'm glad it does not look too "gaming". So if you find something similar but modern I can recommend it to you.

But keep in mind if you plan to have a lot of long gaming sessions it might thermal throttle.

edit: mine is a 15" model 13" models might have thermal issues

i'll have a look.

mostly i'll be playing things like motor sport manager and other small games on it.

is yours noisy? and does the keyboard get uncomfortably hot on your fingers after long time use?

my old laptop ended up doing that and my fingers started to get numb at the tips :/

I never burnt my fingers even when playing Divinity 2 or Metro Redux, but I remember it being cold in the morning since it is made out of aluminum ?

When playing light games like the old most wanted or trackmania it was quite quiet and teachers never noticed I was playing ?.
