27" 1440p 240Hz monitor reviews coming?

Hey there,

I recently found out that there are now displays available that rock both 1440p (WQHD) and 240Hz. They are TN panels but apparently with pretty good colours.

It looks like currently there are two monitors with these specs available.

1. Lenovo Legion Y27gq https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/monitors/gaming/Y27gq-25A19270QY0-27-Monitor-HDMI-SPK/p/65EDGAC1US

2. HP OMEN X 27 https://www8.hp.com/us/en/displays-accessories/gaming/omen-x-27.html

It would be awesome to see a review/comparison of these done by LTT. Hope you consider it as that's some really cool tech and people don't really talk about them yet.

Cheers, have a nice day

Yeah I also want to see tests with these new monitors. There are more sub 1ms ones too.

The negative points are:

It has mediocre HDR performance, poor contrast, poor uniformity, the usual TN bad viewing angles, and despite being a 240hz TN panel the pixel response in 7 out of 12 transitions tested are to slow for the 240hz frame time of 4.17ms.
