Save for a good PC. Keep both PS4 and Switch.

Or maybe sell PS4 but keep the Switch.

So the point of this thread is to tell you to sell the Switch?

A Switch is very unique. May not be as powerful, but it's the only platform that will support any new Mario, Pokémon, or Zelda games and multiple other franchises over whom Nintendo has a monopoly. If you're into those, don't sell it. If you don't have much use of it, I guess you could. But you should separately save for a pc, I would at least do that, I'm not into the PlayStation environment, but of course into the Nintendo world, but that's my personal choice. You can achieve really good specs if you save up to 1500USD, and what you could do, u can cut minor costs from other expenses and save up to 10USD, in approximately 5 months you will have enough. And you can always wait longer or include cash gifts or gift cards which you receive.

I’m a console gamer too. Some games I enjoy on console (FPS, AAA titles) and on my pc I play more strategy/building games.

so it depends.

The problem is I live "down under" so American $700 is bout $1K here so yeah...

And I am just guessing that you're saying USD because that's the world, usually USD.

Alright then AUD. 1500USD would be 2100AUD approx with taxes and shipping maybe 2200-2300AUD. I mean, more time, but u gotta do what u gotta do

(And mate, I face a similar problem in India, INR's value is much lesser compared to AUD, and we have a high 18% GST, imported pc hardware really costs a lot more in my country usually)

Sorry, I know this isn't your fault directly, but we've had too many issues with these style of threads. It starts out nicely, but ends up with going in circles and name calling.

Bottom line is that you do what you want more. One ecosystem is not better than another as they are so different. More so with Switch and PC as already pointed out.
