ryzen 5 3600/MSI B450 board (has bios flashback on the cheap) and a 16GB DDR4-3200 kit

add on a RX 570/580 on the low end, or a RX 5700/5700XT on the higher end and you are set

a decent b450, 16gbs of ram, as fast as you can pay and a r52600 or 3600

add a good gpu and enjoy a really good gaming pc

a $70 difference between a 2600 and a 3600 which isn't much in terms of overall total price of a pc.

that is what i am currently choosing between at the moment.

ram wise, I look at price, brand, cas usually ends up being corsair vengeance lpx

mb's usually go for brand names like asus, msi=gb (tied) then asrock is last place.

not into the gpu's

do you guys have any good mobo review yt'ers or sites I can look at?

am thinking in depth, someone who is trustworthy. i am trying to think of the guy with the accent, long hair. i really loved his reviews years ago, but i've been outta the pc component understanding game for years now. time flies by, life happens. be nice to have something upgradable, but i know components change so fast, 5+yrs and its all new shit.

3600 if you can afford it, 2600 if you can't

just get the cheapest thing (usually ends up being from team or geil), get a fast speed. that's about it nowadays for ram

asus boards don't have the best vrms especially mid range/low end.... msi is best low end and mid range, gb is meh and asrock is better than you think

look at the board, not the brand

If your on a budget and doesn’t need to be too high spec, perhaps something like this. Left GPU out, as not sure what resolution you game on
