Send a physical letter to game staff?

Hi, I was banned on a game that I like to play a few months back. I thought if I tried to send a personal letter to one of the moderators explaining why they should unban me I might get unbanned. I would send an email but there is not emailing system on Old school runescape staff.

How would I find their address or letter sending information or whatsoever ?

What you are asking is to help you, dox game staff. Best we can tell you is to send your "letters" to developers studio.

Well they won't let people appeal banns if they have been banned for botting unfortunately.

I don't know what that means. But yeah letter to the game studio is even better! How do I do that ?

OS Runescape has two functioning systems of customer support: twitter and /r/2007scape. If your sob story is good enough to win the popularity contest on either platform and get your post trending, it might be seen by someone at Jagex, and they might do something. The official support systems, e.g. ban appeals on your account page are for the most part useless

And what reason you have now to write a letter? Your ban is deserved, they will not change that.

It was well deserved and as such, I HIGHLY doubt they will reverse it, not after you failed to heed their first warning. I'll bet my bottom dollar on it.

 

The best thing you can do is learn from this intentional act of cheating and start a fresh account and only play legit. It's really only fair that you should have to start over.

Looking at their website, it doesn't look like it will do any good, especially if they include repeated botting in their top tier level of offenses.

  • These penalties are reserved for the worst offenders and we will not debate these types of bans on our forums, social media or any other method of communication.

If it isn't in that class, you probably stand a better chance of getting a response in the online appeal, but even that, it still probably will not work since they also say this:

  • Appeals sent after a decision has been made will not be reviewed.

Like @Kawaii Koneko said, the best thing that you can probably do is learn from the experience, try to start fresh, and never do it again.
