Can I use the same hdd if u replace my cpu?

Hello Im currently upgrading my core i3 2100 ti a core i5 2500k.Im going to be using the same motherboard, ram etc. Im inly replacing the cpu so can I still use my same hdd or do I have to reinstall windows?

It depends. If you have Windows tied to your Microsoft account (assuming windows 10) then it will reactivated just fine in almost all cases. Windows 7 you might need to input the key again or go through the phone activation process.

Ok so if im signed into my Microsoft acc on my pc(i have windows 10)Then i can still use it?

Yes, if it’s linked to your Microsoft account.

Yeah im only replacing my cpu and i have 2x4 8gb ram so if i replace it to 2x8 gb ram wil it still work? (i believe it will im just making sure) Im still new to all if this.

changing ram doesn't matter at all. You can do that. Sometimes when it gets tricky is moving a existing drive with W10 to a complete new build; especially going intel to amd or vica versa
