I see no reason why there would be any issues, that card can support dual monitor.

Very very slightly. Like 1-3fps max. 

 

But when all you do is reading on this secondary monitor, you could also hook it up to your igpu (if you have one) and get no impact at all. You won't be able to game on this one then though.

On integrated gpu you can do everything if it's not gaming.So my suggestion is to use 1 screen with your dedicated gpu ( As you said you will), and enable iGpu for second monitor to get rid of potential performance loss.Then you can game on 1 monitor and do other stuff on another one at the same time.

I dual monitor since my GTX 560 Ti... You will be fine by all means it's just a matter of plgu in the second monitor and then use the windows+p short cut to select of you want individual screens or extension.
