Hi, so I'm trying to build a budget m-atx pc so here is my list:

CPU: AMD R3 2200G/AMD R3 1600/AMD R5 2600

GPU: RX560 4GB(maybe... im still thinking cuz I might just get a apu to save $$)

MOBO: Gigabyte B450M-S2H/ AsRock B450M-HDV

SSD: Kingston A400 SATA III 240GB

M.2: Kingston A400 2280 120GB

RAM: Kingston DDR4 2666mhz 4GB x2

PSU: Corsair VS450/ Cooler Master Elite V3 500 W (i used a psu calc and it said 300 watts or sooooooooo)

Extra info: I might get a wifi & bluetooth card tooo because the mobo doesn't have those

So I need help deciding the cpu, gpu and psu. As for the ram and ssd, it was on sale like for real cheap so I'm getting those I guess. Also, do you think I overclock with this setup?

What budget/country?

Did you already buy the RAM and an SSD? You'd want 3000mhz/3200mhz CL15/16 RAM preferably unless you want to try and overclock it, which may be an issue.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

There's no need to get dual SSD, for that tiny capacity.

If you want you can use the M.2 ssd for 256gb and a bigger HDD like 2TB or more for storage.

Get a RX570 if you can (new or used), even if you have to drop the cpu to just 4 core.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Hey there yeah I can reiterate what the others have mentioned the dual SSD setup isn't necessary but it's worthwhile choosing at least the R5 1600 at least the performance uplift in comparison to that APU is massive. And get something better than an RX 560, it really won't make the experience worthwhile. The performance you get from that to an RX 570 8GB is also huge. But please do mention your budget, we could help you a lot better.

Good luck!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X | Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900XT | RAM: 2*16GB 3200MHz 14-14-14-34 G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver | SSD: 2TB Gigabyte Aorus Gen 4; 500GB Samsung 860 EVO | CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i RGB Platinum | PSU: Corsair AX850 | Case: Corsair Crystal 680X | Monitor: Eve Spectrum 4K | Keyboard: Logitech G513 Romer-G Tactile | Mouse: Logitech G502 Lightspeed

Country: Malaysia

Budget: MYR 1200 - 1300 (around 300$ wow that's low)

No I haven't bought anything yet. As for the games I plan to play, maybe from this list:

Tekken 7

FFXV

Yakuza

Sekiro

Etc....

I dont really plan to get a new monitor and etc.

I have a weird old dell monitor at home..... is that ok?

If it's less than 1080p the 2200G or 2400G with some 3000-3200mhz RAM will be fine

When you buy a dedicated GPU I wouldn't go below an RX 470 for the upgrade.

And try to get a motherboard with VRM heatsinks on both VRMs, like the ASrock Pro 4

The monitor is 1280×1024 but sometimes I play on the tv for local coop in some games with friends using hdmi sooo????

Then the R3 2200G or R5 2400G will be fine by itself as long as you have fast RAM, it can almost reach GT 1030/RX 550 levels of performance

Right so I did some research, I found these few stuffs:

MOBO:10 AsRock b450m pro4 & AsRock b450m pro4-f (the price is like myr 20 diff withe the pro4-f being the cheaper one)

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb (used)

CPU: R5 2400g (used 3 months)

RAM: G.Skill Aegis 8gb ddr4 3000mhz

Can?

I'll pair it with a 240gb m.2 a400 kingston and 1tb of hdd seagate barracuda?

MOBO:10 AsRock b450m pro4 & AsRock b450m pro4-f (the price is like myr 20 diff withe the pro4-f being the cheaper one) - The F without USB 3.2, can you live without that?

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb (used) - Nice lah.

CPU: R5 2400g (used 3 months) - check the used price of 1600. Don't bother with the age, processors aged well.

RAM: G.Skill Aegis 8gb ddr4 3000mhz - recommend 16gb at least, but 8gb 1 dimm is enough, you can add 1 more in the future.

Yeah you can use 240g + 1TB HDD, the hdd is used not only for storing files but games also. You can't do that with the external drive. But i recommend 2 TB at least, the price difference is small.
