How do I safely open and clean PSU?

blow air into it, don't open it

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Clean the exterior and blow plenty of the compressed air inside it holding the fan in place without opening it, it's not recommended to ever open and touch the internals of a PSU that has been in use.

Do as I say not as I do: Canned air. Or something similar. Don't open it.

If you don't know what you're doing and don't have a very good reason to, don't open it. Blowing through the vents is good enough.
