I will be using final cut this is why I would need a Mac should I keep my laptop and buy the nzxt pc for incredible gaming performance or sell my laptop and buy a 27 iMac 5k 2019 with rx 570x

or sell my Mac and get a 21.5 4k for 100

and get the nzxt? Pc

Do you need a laptop?

Id be tempted to just build/buy a pc, and keep the macbook so you have a laptop.

Do you think selling the laptop and getting a 5k iMac with great performance and good gaming and saving 500 due to selling laptop and spend 100 on cruddy laptop would be better than dropping a full 1000 on a gaming pc even since  I don’t play games a lot maybe 2 hrs a day and having better video editing  performance and a 5k display and saving 600 dollars

I really don't know how you work, and how you like to use your computer, so I can't say.

Why not get a imac and see if you like it, and return it if its not fast enough or you don't like it?
