Trying to mimic Linus' home PC setup.

I'm trying to mimic the same setup that Linus has at home. He has his PC in a separate room that is next to his office and runs the cables through the wall. Does anybody know what hardware I should buy to do this. He mentions the use of thunderbolt 2.

Um...just buy monitors and get long cables for them?
