Does the NZXT 510i case include a fan splitter that supports fans with 4 pins and 3 pins?

Dandapani

I’m planning to buy the nzxt 510i and i’m currently using 2 fans with 4 pins and 1 fan with 3 pins.
Does the inbuilt fan splitter accommodate these 3 fans ?

(my mobo supports only 2 fans, and i need atleast 4 external fans)

Why that case? I'd suggest getting something with airflow.

the NR600 from coolermaster has a similar aesthetic, but with a mesh front.

Also you can just buy fan splitters from ebay pretty cheap.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I found one - this was the spec.
Connector 2: 3* 4-pin male ( 2 of them is 3-pin, 1 of them is 4-pin )

2 of my fans have 4 pin, and one has 3 pin

will it support?

You can stick a 3 pin header into a 4 pin fan, it would just run at 100% all of the time unless your motherboard has DC fan control, which is unlikely if it's a lower end board.

These splitters will not cause the fans to run at full speed right ?

The splitter on the H510i is controlled via the cam software and allows you to change fan speeds and set a fan curve.

So this fan control can be done via cam software irrespective of my mobo specification.

I mean my mobo is not involved in handling the fans.

Yes, as long as you mobo has a usb 2.0 header for the hub to connect to.

USB 3.1 PORTS (FRONT) = 2(Gen1, Type A)

USB 3.1 PORTS (REAR) = 4(Gen1, 3*Type A & 1*Type C)

But in my current situation, I have a lot of heating issues in my case and my case layout is not good in managing the heat, I

there's like $50 mesh cases that come with fans though

or there's like the coolermaster H500 at around the same price, which includes 2 200mm fans and a small RGB controller, dunno about it's specifics.

The fan splitter that comes with Fractal Design cases can do that, and does not require any bloatware to use

No it connects to an internal (on the motherboard) usb 2.0 header which that motherboard has.

Does the cabinet come with the controller hub, or is it bought separately?

Why not buying a 3way fan splitter, or even Arctic PWM PST designated fans (or BeQuiet! SIlent Wings for that matter..)

You can connect fans to each other, and one fan to the header. You can run 3-4fans safely from one single header, will make cabling easier as well..

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

The i variants of the NZXT H-series cases come with the hub. So the H710i, H510i, H210i and the H510 elite. They also include rgb strips integrated into the case which can be controlled via the cam software along with the fans.

Just got the H500i

I have connected the 2 external fans to the splitter available in the case, also the heat has dropped drastically, case looks clean and cables are managed easily.

Love the new case, thank you guys for the help..
