My old c2750D4i just bit the dust, questions on frankensteining together a new replacement NAS

My old Asrock Rack c2750D4i finally died and I'm thinking of using my current main desktop (a 3930K) as a replacement unraid build.  I want to salvage as much as I can from the c2750D4i but I had a question regarding mixed ram types.  My 3930K is using quad channel DDR3 (4x4GB) and the ram I would like to savage is 8GB x 2 DDR3 ECC dual channel memory.  Will this even boot?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replys!

It was unbuffered, the part number is CT102472BD160B.  I remember this because the c2750 was extremely picky about memory.

If you got it, why not just try it?

Good question lol

I need to something to replace my main PC first.   I guess I could just try it in the main PC and see if It boots now that I think about it.  Thanks again!
