Best value 1TB M.2 SSD for storage?

Hi, I'm looking for additional 1TB M.2 SSD, it doesn't matter if it's SATA/NVME. So wich one is the best value?

I'm not into storage devices too much, so I'm kind of clueless about SSD value nowadays.

SATA is going to be the cheapest m.2 drive for storage. Most 1TB m.2 SATA SSDs are under $100.

If you're sparingly going to use the drive go ahead and go for a QLC SATA m.2 SSD.
if you're going to be using it more often or with big files go with a TLC SATA m.2 SSD for better performance and lifespan.

For the love of god if it says DRAM-less/Cache-less stay the hell away from it no matter how cheap it is.

Thanks. Which good SATA M.2 you would recommend me? I will probably get it when it's on sale soon.

 

NVME is just too expensive for me, and I don't need that much of performance. I just want a good 1TB TLC M.2 SATA for the price and the type of functionality I needed, so TLC is I think suitable for me, but which one?

Feel free to watch r/buildapcsales on reddit for other drives since Black Friday is slowly approaching. If you're unsure if it's TLC vs QLC or DRAMless the BAPCS community will generally let you know if you ask in the comments.

How can we know generally if an SSD is a QLC, MLC, TLC, DRAMless/Cacheless? Can't look for them on their specs sheet.

Generally just searching for the model using google will find out of if device is QLC/TLC/MLC/SLC

 

 

For DRAMless just add "dram" in quotes

Lol.. I should have done that earlier.

 

I never expected an HP SSD is being recommended, it's an uncommon brand for a storage drive for mainstream people like me, I guess. But it's good to know.
