Greetings. For the price I got it, it didn't matter what version it is, as long as it wasn't a founders.

But I can't ID which it is (he's at work and doesn't remember)

Anyways, I see that all three versions (Gaming, SC and FTW) have a different badge or name stamp on the top of the card.

Can someone with PS maybe try and read whats next to the arrow? Don't know if its to blown out to see.

Thank You very much.

Yep it's too blown out

the "gaming" version have that label sitting above the cooler so it's not the gaming

the grilles on the shroud appear to fall inline with the FTW edition rather than the SC edition

Yea, there's just no data in there.. Can't read that..

But you can visually look at the card.. The Superclocked and  Gaming have some silver 'patch' inbetween the fans; this card does not have that. So it's not the SC or Gaming.

The FTW is also a closer match, with the silver colored three 'plates' on the right side: https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=262a811f-d3e9-4e51-af12-f808ec0a3b56

I would be willing to guess it's the FTW.

Mighty fine work there! Didn't know about the other visual clues, the three looked the same to me?

Like I said, for the price, it didn't matter. Paid $125, picking it up tomorrow.

And if its a FTW card, well hell, than its a FTW!

Would you be willing to bet for sure thats a FTW?

Thanks so much!

Given the three cards, it looks the closest to the FTW.

But who's to say it isn't a 1080 or 1060..? The badge on the bottom is not exactly clear (in terms of resolution), so it's not something I would be able to bet on :P

Just given the picture and the couple options, the FTW seems to be the most likely option.

Yes, a 1080, we could only be so lucky.

A 1060 - I'm pounding on your door. ?

FTW it is.... thanks again!

Cheers

They sold GPU rejected cards?!

I mean, just because it couldn't hit near 2GHz (which is what FTW cards default to with Pascal) doesn't mean it can't run at founders frequency (well cooled ones do about 1.8GHz)

Thanks for asking ;) Yes, its a 100% FTW card and looked like it had never been touched. Runs awesome! Far far better than the old msi 970. Maxwell and Pascal - night and day.

Even the plastic "newness" protector  on the top of the card (that has EVGA 1070 on it) hadn't been removed.

Fresh peel ! !

Thanks for all the help in here.
