nvme sk hynix pc401 512gb will it work in a normal destop

Hi i am running a b350m provdh motherboard and want an nvme ssd to speed my system up (my sata one is very old and small)

I have found a cheap one of these pc401 ssd's but the "key" i think thats the term looks strange and its from an xps 15 laptop, will it work with a normal m.2. slot on my motherboard or is it a special laptop only port?

This shoud work, because the m.2 slot is directly connected to the CPU. Therefor you should get the full Speeds. The Port on Laptops is exactly the same as on normal Mainboards

wasnt sure as seen some laptops have strange ssd'd in the past
