Should i upgrade from GTX 970 to 1060?

So recently i noticed that the GTX 1060 price has gone down significantly. Should I upgrade from my GTX 970 to 1060? Or should I wait for a bit more and get a GTX 1660 instead? I mainly play GTA V, some Far Cry games and in the future I'll play Red Dead Redemption 2 and Hitman 2.

My setup:

I3 9100F

8GB 2400MHz DDR4

GTX 970

1660. 1060 is a sidegrade for the most part

No, the gap is too fin to matter... save up for a proper upgrade.

Next time you upgrade will probably be when you upgrade the cpu and the rest aswell. Keep what you got for now.

I suggest to stick with the GTX 970 for now, it should be good for a while. A good idea may be to upgrade from 8GB of RAM to 16GB of ram. Also in the future if want to upgrade your GPU and get a good deal, then I suggest going with used or refurbished GTX 1660 ti or a GTX 1070.
