Hi there,

I installed my brand new Asus ROG Ryuo 240 Cooler a few Days ago. Since then I was not able to change the standart ROG Logo on the Oled Screen.

I read online that the needed Software is Dashboard. But I think this Tool is outdated and was replaced by Asus with Armory Crate.

But in this Programm I am not able to change the Logo.

I already conntacted the Asus Support, but the guy only told me to reinstall Windows...

I hope you guys have a solution which does not include reseting my whole system.

I already reinstalled all Asus Programms.

  • OS - Windows 10 x64
  • Ryzen 5 3600
  • Asus ROG Ryuo 240 AiO Watercooler
  • 16 Gb Trident Z RGB Ram
  • GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb
  • Asus B450-F Gaming
  • Some random beQuiet! 500w Power Supply
  • Desktop

I have had the same issue since I bought the ROG Ryuo 240. You need to use Armory Crate to change the info on your OLEd screen. But there is an issue in Armory Crate where the updates don't apply to the motherboard and the Ryuo, so the .XML files dont load properly. Asus support said that the engineers are working on a fix and it should come out in november. I am still unhappy that they released a product that didnt work properly from the beginning, especially at the cost of how much the cooler is.

Reinstalling windows is the only option support staff seem to say as an answer, reinstalling wont fix their garbage software. They told me to repeatedly install the updates, and repeatedly restart my computer till the software worked. What a load of crap. Asus support is a waste of time, and they are never able to fix anything. So hopefully the next update in november fixes the issue.

My other issue was that at computer startup the OLED would only show the ROG logo and not switch over to the voltage and temp screen. There are quite a few bugs with this cooler.

Yeah my Cooler is only showng the Logo too. I didn´t even get it to show me the temps...

But thank you very much for the hint about the November Update.

Did you reinstall Windows to get yours working?

Or is your Screen still "broken"?

Hello,

I am having the same problems with Ryou 120 on a new, out of box setup, of an Asus MB as well.  I mean, I did instal all updates and such, but its August 2020 and it still hasnt been fixed?  I bought this do to the supposed cohesiveness of the Asus environment.  What a load of Bull.
