This is a good deal but 3600+b450+1080ti, will it be a good combo for what I want?

Much better than going 7700k.

Hi guys, I am currently running on a Kabylake b250 board with i5-6400 and a gtx660. I am planning to do casual streaming (1080p, rainbow six siege, modern warfare, Destiny 2) and learn little bit of video editing with davinci resolved, as well as some photo editing. I don't want to waste my board, and since used i7-7700k or non-k as well as gtx1080ti prices are low, I am planning on this upgrade path. Do you guys think this build/upgrade is still viable in 2019 till 4yrs from now? Or should I just do a system overhaul?

depends on your budget which i assume is low so you could just rock the i7 for the next few years if you don't want to spend any money. The gtx 660 though i don't think will hold you over that long though

I'm only seeing the 7700k for ~$300 on ebay, at that price you're better off getting a 3600+B450 board and selling off your old hardware.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I can afford the used i7-7700 and gtx1080ti. Just don't know if its good for the work I intended for today's time with new hardware that came out.

Thanks. I'll save a little bit more causei have to change my ram as well which is not really a bih deal. Any recommendations?

if you're using regular DDR4, you can keep your current ram and try to overclock it.
