HDMI TO VGA or graphic card issues. HELP

Go to solution Solved by Xiee,

It might be the adapter. I had something happen to me a while back since I use a secondary old monitor that still uses VGA so I had to get an adapter.

I ended up getting another adapter and the problem went away.

I just bought this adapter from amazon and noticed that the screen would flick on and of randomly. It kept getting worse until the monitor would lose signal. I cant tell if its my gpu or adapter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NWDN75C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I will return the adapter and see what happens then. I was hoping to wasnt the gpu.
