I need your insights on Thermaltake Water 3.0 AIO line VS Corsair H150i Pro

Hi!

I'm using a Deepcool 240x White Captain (http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2019-07/1286_11564.shtml) on My Ryzen 7 1800X (not OCed 'cuz I lost the Silicon Lottery on it). 

The CPU temps are fine but the damn thing starts vibrating/humming after an hour or two of gaming. I also know these AIOs have a habit of dying after two years so the clock is running out on my unit. I mean to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 3700X (My mobo supports it) and I wanna swap the AIO at the same time.

With the 3700X, I want to go triple fan and my Mastercase h500p mesh has ample support so it's a matter of finding the right AIO (i'm not going custom watercooling any time soon, too much maintenance and too much $$$).

My alternative is the H150i Pro.

Price are comparable, I never had issues with my previous Corsair AIO but I hate the cables coming out of the pump on the H150i... BTW I know There is an RGB cable coming out of the Thermaltake too. It's just way more discreet.

Any insights on performance and aesthetics to help me make up my mind?

Are you sure it's the cooler and not something else? Are you able to reproduce or stop the sound by raising or lowering the fan / pump rpm?

Honestly having used many AIO's in the past (Deepcool Captain 240 included) if you want to go for a quiet system a big air cooler is way better, quieter, cheaper, and performs nearly identical to large AIO's. I find that even the best AIO's after long use under high temps all get noisy when the pumps really need to work hard. 

 

That said if you really want an AIO I haven't used a Thermaltake AIO product and I like the H100i Pro I have in my one system. But I recommend the Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4, OR Noctua NH-D15.

 

Edit: Also I recall in the past I had a terrible case rattle in an old system when the AIO pump was working hard, turns out it was making the rad rattle and the fix was just getting rubber washers and putting them in between the rad and the case. After that the rattling noise went away.

My ThermalTake Water 3.0 is great, no issues and cools the OC'd 8700K very well while being quiet and minimal in the case.

 

Haven't used the Corsair stuff ever, so can't comment.

I haven't played with the pump RPMs yet I'll try that.

I checked the rad and it's not vibrating but thanks for the advice. My case is really built for an AIO and show. I'll go air cooling if I can't fix my problem with an AIO but I don't want to give up just yet.
