I am looking for a full cover waterblock for the gigabyte windforce RTX2070   non super, but have a limited budget so I have been looking for a used model.  The only 'compatible' waterblock I have found is the Vector RE from EK that lists this card as compatible on their website. Since I am looking in the used market this really limits the options if this is the only cover that works.

So.....

I have started comparing my PCB to some of the PCB's of the Graphics cards for which I have been able to find used waterblocks.    By what I can tell the PCB seems to match up part for part and hole for hole with the founders edition RTX2080.    Can anyone confirm or deny that this is the case?  or would someone else take a look at the PCB's and see if you can spot a difference?

Thanks

Just get a universal GPU block that you can reuse in the future?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Why are you looking in the used market for newer hardware? If they offer a block that fits, get it new. It’s cheap and you are quite limited in options as it is.

Or get a better card and have a lot more options.

Main RIg Lian Li O11 MINI, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Never found anything that would for sure work.  I think the 2080FE would work with a bit of modification to clear the 2 fan connectors at the end of the card, but haven't pulled the trigger on purchasing one.  I think I am going to wait til next gen gpu's come out and just buy a watercooled model and pass my GPU on to my son's rig.
