So I bought I first ever custom PC a little over 3 years ago, and I have upgraded some of the parts like cpu and GPU. I have used the Corsair h100i v2 for about 3 years now, and I wanted to know if it's still fine or should I change it.

After I upgraded my CPU to 3700x I haven't used it cause the bracket that was included with the cooler does line up with the screws on the mother, I've been using the wraith.

My PC specs are :

Corsair obsidian 500d rgb

asrock x570 taichi

ryzen 3700x

asus rog strix 2080 super

Corsair vengeance rgb 2666mhz 2x8

corsair cx750m

2 m.2

1 SSD

1 HDD

and the coolers wraith and Corsair h100i v2

And if there is any questions or advice you would give me please let me know.

thanks

Just sell it for relatively cheap, or sell only the radiator/CPU block and keep the fans just listing the age.

You can get a Neptwin for $40, or a Scythe Fuma 2 for $60 if you don't want to deal with water cooling anymore.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Corsair includes a 5 year warranty and there's no reason it shouldn't last that long excluding manufacturing defects which would have been obvious by now. The included bracket should be fine. if you switched from Intel to AMD it's a different bracket. I have an h100 (7 years old) and it's still working just fine.

My H100i has been working fine for the past 8 years, performance hasn't really changed.

You guys are crazy, but at least at worst it just starts overheating the CPU.

Worst case is it leaks.
