I think my psu is broken

I got it on Saturday and when I plug it in the fan doesn’t spin and only one light that’s an rgb light turns on it on the motherboard

I'd make sure your cables and such aren't being pinched first. Run all of the hardware in your PC on top of a cardboard box.

Ok.  That means the PSU is live and the motherboard is getting +5VSB.

 

So now, is the button from the front of the case to the "PW SW" pins on the motherboard connected?  If so, what happens next when you press the power button on the case?

I’m currently putting it I a box to test it do I connect the power sw and test it out of the box like that

Thank you lol I went back to motherboard manual pw switch was on wrong one
