Corsair H115i PRO High temperatures (55C Idle - 98C Stress tested)

I just my first liquid cooler for my i7 2600k (yes, I know it's old). I've been running the same OC of 4.5 GHz @1.375v for years now with my Cooler Master Hyper X 212 EVO and I was gettinf 35-40C idle and around 60C during gaming. I upgraded to the Corsair H115i PRO and my temperatures have skyrocketed. I installed the two fans as intake on the front of my fractile design define C chassis. I used stock thermal paste. I believe It's making good contact. All fans seem to be fully functional. Can anyone explain why my temperatures are so high?

if I had to guess, poor water flow... did you set the pump speeds up?

Yes good idea. Either that or its a really damp and very hot room where its intaking hot warm air into the rad. Also is the RAD heating up because its close to hot components. But ya I think its gotta be the pump get the software and see whats up.

his post kills your theory... he had no issues with the Hyper 212 on it prior to swapping....
