Hi,

When I'm in a fullscreen application and I move my mouse too quickly in the direction that I set up my second monitor to be, my mouse suddenly leaves the full screen application for a brief moment. This is a real problem for me because I play a lot of twitchy game requiring fast and sudden movements in random directions. While looking online for a way to lock my cursor to a screen I learned about an application called Dual Monitor Tools. Do any of you know of this program, is it safe to use?

Here's the link to their site: http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/

This issue should not happen.  What video card do you have and what version drivers you using ?  This is a first for me the mouse jumping to next screen in DX in full screen.  Try the tool but check it for viruses before you run it.  Hopefully it will have a option to lock the primary monitor and sorta disable the second monitor and what not.

I've had this issue among multiple setups and graphics cards, my setup is not the issue. What happens, I think, is that I make a movement large and fast enough that I make a movement big enough to leave the application before the cursor is reset.

I have a fairly high DPI, so depending on what your DPI is that might be why you never experienced that.

Oh I get it now.  Still a bit shady, shouldn't happen weird....  Let us know if this tool does the job and locks the screen and what not.

I haven't heard of that one before. It's free and open source, so if it doesn't work, you can always uninstall.

I have been using DisplayFusion, and used the pointer lock too. So I can vouch for it. Also the customer support is good. They aren't fast, but make sure issue is solved.
