I am cureently using cabledeconn adapter which goes into laptop and then i plug my vga in it...

Second one is simple hdmi adapter which goes into hdmi slot ij laptop then vga cable in it...  I broke second one out of frustration,  and first one now makes even louder crackling sound... After i plug out my monitor,  sound slowly fades away after 20 seconds...  I hope that explains better

When did this problem start, sounds like the unit is busted but I am no expert in the CableDeconn and what not.  Also make sure you disabled monitor audio in your sound panel and what not.

So what I'm hearing is that Thunderbolt plugs into your laptop, then you use the HDMI end of the splitter and convert the HDMI signal to VGA when it hits your monitor? Have you tried just using VGA to VGA, since that Thunderbolt hub seems to allow that?

I thought of that too,  but same issue is with hdmi to vga adapter,  which i purchased separately to try out,  so i dont think the issue is with both of them :/

Sorry,  I am not too good with explaining things haha

Adapter from the image is plugged into laptop,  and vga cable from monitor is plugged directly into the vga slot on adapter..

Also,  one more detail...  With the simple hdmi adapter which looks like stick,  sound starts when i open any kind of game or heavy application,  but if i turn fans to full,  sound stops slowly

My laptop is acer predator g5 793
